Crazy Panda Poker is Taking on the West in Style

PokerStars New Jersey Launch BannerGreat news for all of the American poker players as they will finally get to play at PokerStars! Long awaited, the permission has finally been granted to Amaya to launch PokerStarsNJ.com on March 21st. This is the first permit that’s been granted to offer online real money gambling in the United States, so let’s look into what PokerStarsNJ will be all about.

It’s just been publicized that Amaya has received the news it’s been long waiting for. New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has approved the brand PokerStars to enter the market and offer online poker services to paying players in the state of New Jersey. The launch is set for the 21st of March and there will be special promotions available, as well as a way for old PokerStars clients to transfer their accounts in a simplified way.

The Launch Details

Let’s look into the nitty gritty of this approval first. Amaya has been waiting for these news since forever, as the USA is deemed one of the most lucrative online poker markets with most potential players and a huge interest in the game too. Actually, it’s been over five years since the brand was ‘evicted’ from the country, but it will now come back with a bang as it launches its new domain – PokerStarsNJ.com.

PokerStars New Jersey LaunchThe site will first have a ‘soft launch,’ during which select players will be able to test the software and root out any persistent bugs. Subsequently, the site will be launched to all punters old and new. We say old, because if you already have a PokerStars account, then you will be able to create a PokerStarsNJ account using your already existing User ID and password with no hassle.

You will also receive a welcome offer of a VIP status, a Play Money chips balance and a certain number of StarsCoin, depending on your loyalty to the brand. Keep in mind that this deal is only available until May 31st, so if you wish to transfer through to the New Jersey site, don’t linger around.

Amaya plans to launch the brand on desktop, tablet and mobile. They will also have casino table games, mobile slots and video poker all available to their USA clients. And although both PokerStars and Full Tilt have received the necessary permits to operate, after the news that Full Tilt will be merged into the PokerStars brand, a Full Tilt launch in USA seems highly unlikely.
