Win a Share of £1,000,000 at the PokerStars Red Spade Open
A share of a whopping $1,000,000 could be yours, with PokerStars’ Red Spade Open. While my last post discussed 888 Poker’s Hallo-Win series with a total prize pot of $100,000, PokerStars is offering that amount as the first prize in its latest tournament series, with plenty more cash to be had in game winning and bounties. It also give you the chance to test your skills against some of the top ranking pros in the world.
What’s the Red Spade Open?
This Sunday (26th October), instead of the usual Sunday tournament, PokerStars will instead be running the Red Spade Open. The tournament has a huge prize pool of $1,000,000, and a guaranteed top prize of at least $100,000.
Not only will you be playing against other PokerStars players, but pro members of Team PokerStars. The benefit of playing against these pros is that if you’re lucky enough to be able to knock them out of the Open, you’ll instantly get rewarded with a bounty of $250 – whether you go on to win or not! On top of this, if you knock out Pro Ike Haxton, you’ll get your $250 bounty, but also a ticket for a heads-up with him, where you’ll play for a guaranteed $1,000.
How to get involved
There’s loads of ways for you to be able to get involved in the tournaments. Firstly, you can simply buy in for the low, low price of only $55. If that’s too steep for you, then you can always try your luck at winning a seat at the tables in one of the qualifying games, where you can buy in for as little as just $1!
Finally, if you don’t want to spend any of your own cash, how about spending some of your hard earned frequent player points? Head to the PokerStars VIP store and find out how you can buy in using your points.
The Open will start at 15:00GMT this Sunday, and can be found in the ‘Find a Tournament’ tab at PokerStars. It’s accessible for most mobile player.
