PokerStars TopUp Vouchers Explained
You know that spring is finally here when the SCOOP schedule comes out and this year, we’re extremely excited to share it with you. It’s a PokerStars‘ tournament of epic proportions, which promises to be 55 events full of actions, bags full of money (did you read the title?!) and endless excitement. Who knows, perhaps you could score your slice of the massive pie and be all set to go travelling the entire summer!
PokerStars is not just the largest poker network worldwide (remember, they recently ventured into the newly opened USA market), but they also have the bet promotions of the lot. While everyone else might be doing tourneys of $500,000, $1M, heck, even $3M, PokerStars goes and tops it all. Of course, they have the funds to do so, but that’s not to say SCOOP 2016 isn’t more than just the gigantic $40,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Read on to find out how you can participate.
Should I Take Part in SCOOP 2016?
A resounding heck yes! We would take issue if you didn’t decide you wanted to join Spring Championship of Online Poker, or SCOOP for short. And this year, it will be bigger, better and all-around nicer. Let us tell you exactly why that is.
First, the 55 events will run from May 8 to May 23, so that’s just over two weeks of extremely rewarding poker events. You can play is as many of the events as you’d like, but don’t go absolutely mental and blow your annual poker budget! Of course, it’s advertised as the ‘biggest and richest’ poker tournament anywhere this year, offering up impressive prizes.
They’re not before unseen, but extremely unlikely to occur often, for example $7,000,000 across three Main Events on the penultimate day of SCOOP (May 22). Then, what about that SCOOP Main Event which will see a single player walk away with the first prize of $1,000,000 at the very least? We’re sure that the most famous world poker players will flock to these events and we will be able to see some riveting and hair raising poker action really soon.
Buy-In Or Qualify Through Satellites Now
Needless to say, no matter what your budget or game skill level – PokerStars network always caters to all and SCOOP 2016 is no different. You will find that satellites are currently running and to join any of them to qualify for main events, you can use T$ (tournament cash) or real cash. After you’ve successfully secured yourself a spot at one of the SCOOP events, subsequent seats you win for the same event can be exchanged for T$.
And if satellites aren’t an option for you? Well, you can also buy-in and the range is pretty impressive. Starting at the very bottom with low stakes buy-ins of $7.50, you can also splurge and play at very high stakes for a staggering $21,000! With buy-ins like those, no wonder the total prize pool amounts to $40M in cold, hard cash.
Lastly, you can also join most of the satellites and even the events themselves with StarsCoin that you earn from the VIP Programme of this poker network. Although you must keep in mind that they cannot be used for partial payment and cannot be combined to join a more expensive event.
We guess there’s just one more thing to say – see you at PokerStars‘ SCOOP 2016! You’d be silly not to join.
